Instructions
1. | Cut the paracord cords to the desired length and attach them to the click buckle with an attachment knot. In our example, we cut the 2 cords to a length of approx. 1 m, we made the cords approx. 21 cm long from the hanging knot and the knotted piece between the click buckle ends was then approx. 15 cm long. These measurements may vary depending on how tightly or loosely you knot them. |
2. | In the weaver's knot, the two outer cords form an even strand around the two standing guide cords (center). Pass the right loose end in an arc under the two guide cords to the left so that a loop is formed on the right and place it over the left loose end. Lay the left loose end to the right over the two guide cords and guide it through the loop that has just been created. Tighten both loose ends (right and left) evenly. Lay the right loose end in an arc over the two guide cords. This creates another loop on the right-hand side and pass it under the left-hand loose end. Pass the left loose end under the two guide cords and pull it through the loop. Tighten evenly to form a knot. Repeat the steps until the desired length is reached. |
3. | When the bracelet has reached the desired length, thread all 4 cords through the second half of the click buckle. If necessary, shorten the cord ends on the back of the bracelet slightly, heat briefly with the lighter and press against them with the lighter body. CAUTION when heating the cords, they become very hot! Take care when welding to avoid burning yourself. |
